Kaelyn and Preston’s intimate, winter Show Low wedding was such a dream. We had traveled to Show Low the day prior to get settled and scope out the wedding location. As the day passed and more and more snow fell, I got nervous about getting to and from the wedding location in our car. We woke up on the wedding day to a large blanket of white snow and people in the hotel parking lot working furiously to get their vehicles de-iced. We decided it would be best to leave at least an hour early in case we had car problems. Luckily, we were able to make it to both the getting ready and ceremony location just fine. However, once the reception was over and it was time to leave, there was no way we were getting our car out of the venue’s parking area and driveway. Fortunately, a nice wedding guest towed us back to our hotel.
During the entire ceremony, the snow kept falling. I was impressed with how well Kaelyn handled being in her sleeveless dress during the entire ceremony time. I suppose love does not feel temperature. The best thing about a snow wedding was all the gorgeous, snowy portraits we were able to take of the bride and the groom. It felt so peaceful and dreamy. Glad we made it out in one piece!
Congrats on your wedding, Kaelyn and Preston! I know you both will be so happy together.
