Matt and I were fortunate to photograph Alana and Jon’s proposal at the top of the San Francisco Peaks this summer. I’m so excited to write their continuing love story leading now to their engagement session and then their wedding coming up in January. (I really hope it snows on their wedding. Just sayin’.)

What I like most about this engagement session is how Jon and Alana opted to incorporate their personalities into their shoot. A lot of people think that doing something out-of-the-box would be too cheesy or hard to pull-off. As you can see below, however, any activity can be styled up to look pretty, romantic and fun. These are the kind of photos you’ll cherish for the long run, when you really put your interests into them. There’s not much more to say because I wrote so much about this amazing couple in their proposal post, so be sure to check that one out. In the meantime, scroll through the photos below and be wowed at all the adorable-ness.
